EN Armadillo sideboard is the continuation of the woven furniture collection created in collaboration with textile designers Lily Alcaraz & Léa Berlier and cabinetmaker Jean Brieuc Atelier. A weave of wood, cotton and metallic threads, lined with a weft of slats fixed to a cotton canvas, wraps around the furniture. The handles, mounted on slides, enable a novel opening system based on the natural deformation of the weave.
FR Le buffet Armadillo est la suite de la collection de meubles tissés réalisés en collaboration avec les designers textile Lily Alcaraz & Léa Berlier et l'atelier d'ébénisterie Jean Brieuc Atelier. Le tissage de bois et fils de coton et métallisés, doublé d’une trame de lattes fixée sur une toile de coton, enveloppe le meuble. Les poignées, montées sur glissières, permettent un système d'ouverture inédit basé sur la déformation naturelle du tissage.
